The first budget of the third term of the Modi government has been opened. On Tuesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the general budget. This budget can also be called R, R, R. That is, livelihood, roti and politics. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday made a record of presenting the budget for the seventh time in a row. In her speech of 1 hour 23 minutes, her focus was on education, employment, farmers, women and youth. Apart from this, the central government was kind to Nitish Kumar’s Bihar and Chandrababu Naidu’s Andhra Pradesh.
Actually, in this budget, BJP’s allies have been blessed. In this Lok Sabha election, BJP could not get enough seats to form the government on its own. This time the government is of NDA and Bihar’s party JDU and Andhra Pradesh’s party TDP are BJP’s biggest allies. Both the allies were demanding special status for their respective states. Special status was not given but Andhra Pradesh and Bihar have been given the maximum importance in the budget. So much importance that even the opposition parties have made sarcastic remarks about it.
Now first let us know the 10 big things of this budget-
1. Relief in the new tax regime. Now 5% tax on income of 3 to 7 lakhs.
