जोमैटो-स्विगी से खाना मंगाना हुआ महंगा: दोनों कंपनियों ने 20% बढ़ाई प्लेटफॉर्म फीस, अब ₹5 की जगह ₹6 चार्ज लगेगा

Ordering food from online food delivery platforms Zomato and Swiggy has now become a little more expensive. Both companies have increased the platform charge by 20%. Now customers of both companies will have to pay Rs 6 as platform fee on every order.

Both Zomato and Swiggy have increased this platform fee for markets like Bengaluru and Delhi. This is not the first time that both the companies have increased the platform fee. 3 months ago also both the companies had increased the platform fee to Rs 5.

Zomato-Swiggy started charging platform fees last year
Both companies have taken this decision to increase profitability. Zomato and Swiggy started charging platform fees from last year. At that time, both companies initially charged Rs 2 as platform fee. Later, both increased it to Rs 3 and then to Rs 4.

Zomato stock gave a return of 170% in one year
Zomato’s stock closed at Rs 223.21 on Friday with a gain of 2.80%. The company’s stock has given a return of 7.74% in the last 5 days, 19.85% in one month, 67.32% in 6 months and 170.39% in one year.

Zomato market cap Rs 1.93 lakh crore
The company has given a return of 79.29% to shareholders since January. Zomato’s market capitalization is Rs 1.93 lakh crore. Swiggy, on the other hand, is still an unlisted company.
