Question: Dada, every generation connects with you. Children as well as adults. What is the secret of this connection?

Answer/ Jackie Shroff: I don’t know myself, friend. Just to live from the heart, share love and mingle with people. I always think that one should not become great by tearing someone down. Become a child with children, become friends with adults. When you meet someone from the heart, there is an energy exchange.

Shake hands, hug, talk lovingly, that creates connection. The relationship between grandfather and grandchild is also similar.

Question: Do you feel the absence of a joint family today?

Answer/ Jackie Shroff: Nowadays families have become smaller. Earlier, even in a small house, 6-7 people lived together, but there was a lot of love. We lived in a small house, but it was a lot of fun. Children learn life by living with grandparents. Things like their experiences, talks and love have diminished to some extent today.

Question: Nowadays love and respect is decreasing among people?

Answer/ Jackie Shroff: I always try to see the good. I see the moon, not its spots. If a person only sees shortcomings all the time, life will become heavy. Many times I see my own mistakes, then I don’t feel like speaking ill of others. There is definitely something good in every person.

Question: What did you find his biggest characteristic?

Answer/ Manish Saini: Despite being such a big star, he did not have any star attitude. The shoot ended at 1 o’clock in the night, yet I drove myself to the farmhouse. I asked, “Sir, why are you driving?” So he said, “Now it will be fun, I will drive.” His simplicity is the biggest thing.
