Zubeen Garg got very big opportunities in Mumbai, he also has his own house and bungalow, but he did not live much there. He had opened his house to those who do not find a place to live in Mumbai, especially for cancer patients or people who came for treatment. His house became a guest house in a way. Most of his Assamese songs were based on nature and beautiful views of Assam.

In the night, if an needy or elderly person meets on the road, he takes him to the hospital and took full care of him. This was his daily job. Every day, there was a crowd of people at his house from 10 am.

Some come to get admission of their child, some come to ask for financial help. Zubin used to donate 70 percent of his earnings and kept only 30 percent with him. He has planted millions of trees throughout Assam and Northeast. He also works for the care of the rhinoceros, spending their food and drinking and medicines. During the flood, he himself goes to the relief camp and helps people.
