In such a situation, American pressure regarding energy purchase from Russia can become a big issue in the talks between Trump and Xi.
Why is Jinping meeting Trump again and again?
According to experts, Jinping wants to continue direct talks with Trump to avoid worsening relations with America. Thursday’s meeting will be the third meeting of the two leaders in less than a year. No major agreement has been reached in these meetings so far, but talks are continuing between the two leaders.
