The Government of India is now going to give visas again to Chinese citizens. According to a report by Reuters, India will start giving visas for tourism to Chinese citizens for the first time after five years. This service was closed after the Korona period. This has confirmed this by the Indian Embassy in Beijing. The embassy reported that the process will start from July 24, 2025. This information has also been published by China’s Government Media Global Times, stating that the Indian embassy shared information in this regard on social media platform Weibo on Wednesday.
The Indian Embassy has said that people of China can now apply for a visa to visit India. For this, they have to fill the online application form first. Then you have to take an appointment by visiting the website.
After this, he will have to go to the visa center with his passport and necessary documents. These visa centers are in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhu, which fall in the Guangdong province of South China. They can submit their application by going there.
India stopped giving visas during the coronal period
Significantly, India suspended all tourist visas in 2020 due to the Kovid-19 epidemic. This was followed by a dalwan dispute between India-China in June 2020. This had spoiled the relations between the two countries.
In April 2022, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) said that not all tourist visas of Chinese citizens are no longer valid. The decision was taken in response to China’s policy in which it did not allow 22,000 Indian students to return to their country after Corona. Now, after about 5 years, the relationship between the two countries seems to be getting better.

Meanwhile, on 15 June, 20 Indian soldiers were killed in a clash with the Chinese Army in the Galwan Valley. Later, India also gave a befitting reply to this. 40 Chinese soldiers were killed in it.
