The team was given the responsibility of identity and arrest of the accused.
Hundreds of CCTV cameras, technical check
To catch the accused, the police team searched footage of hundreds of CCTV cameras around Rajiv Chowk. The footage was matched with technical investigation and intelligence input. The police team analyzed the foot movement, the parking of the vehicles and the possible route of the accused. Gradually, the links of the evidence were added and the identity of the accused became confirmed as 32-year-old Abhilash Kumar.
M.Tech degree, but petty act
After this, the police took over the accused by raiding the Gurugram Sector-49 on Monday (August 11) today. MTech degree holder is a resident of Bahdur Chand Colony of Karnal. Currently, he is living on rent in Sector-11 of Gurugram. Police interrogation revealed that he is married. He also has a son. He is working as an assistant manager in a private company located in Sector-49 of Gurugram.
