ED has filed a charge sheet in the special PMLA court against famous YouTuber Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Fazilpuriya, residents of Gurugram. Both of them are facing serious allegations of violating the Wildlife Protection Act by using snakes in songs.

Chandigarh’s music company Sky Digital has also been made a co-accused in this case. ED has already attached the property worth Rs 55 lakh of both of them in this case.
In fact, Saurabh, an activist of People’s for Animals, an organization of former MP and animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi, had filed a complaint about illegal use of snakes in parties and songs.

On November 2, 2023, on the complaint of Saurabh, a resident of Noida, an FIR was registered against six people including Elvish Yadav. After investigation, Noida Police arrested Elvish Yadav on 17 March 2024. The charge sheet states that Sky Digital Company was involved in this illegal activity and possibly played a role in sponsoring it or providing technical support.

The ED, in its investigation, found that the earnings from this activity were invested in property, following which assets worth Rs 55 lakh were seized. Saurabh, a member of People for Animals, has welcomed this action. He says that such misuse of animals by celebrities sends a bad message.
Elvish Yadav is popular among millions of youth after his YouTube videos and Bigg Boss OTT victory. On the other hand, Rahul Fazilpuriya is known for his songs.
