A painful road accident took place in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh in the early hours of Monday. Here, on the flyover of Sihanigate police station area, a speeding car broke the railing and fell about 50 feet. The car was badly damaged in this accident and an atmosphere of chaos was created at the spot. Father and son were traveling in the car. In the accident, 48-year-old father Rakesh died on the spot, while his son Prince was seriously injured. Who has been admitted to the hospital.
According to the information received, Rakesh and his son were returning to their home in Sanjay Nagar from Prince Bus Stand Road. As soon as the car reached Sihanigate flyover, the Prince who was driving the car fell asleep. Due to which the vehicle suddenly went out of control. The uncontrolled car broke the railing of the flyover and fell straight into the Public Works Department (PWD) office complex below. The car was completely shattered due to falling from height.
Police is scanning CCTV to find out the exact cause of the accident.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Sihanigate police station immediately reached the spot and started relief work. The police team took the injured youth to the hospital and sent the dead body for post-mortem. On the basis of the broken remains on the flyover and the fallen car, the police has started investigating the cause of the accident. Besides, the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby is also being scrutinized so that the exact cause of the accident can be ascertained.
