11 days before the voting for assembly elections in Maharashtra, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has given a statement regarding the rebels. Gadkari was asked in an interview on Saturday about the rebels joining BJP. In response to this Gadkari said-

BJP is expanding rapidly. As the crop increases, diseases also increase with it. BJP has a lot of crops, which give good yields, but also bring some diseases. Therefore we have to spray pesticides on such sick crops.

Gadkari said that new people are coming to BJP for different reasons. It is our responsibility to give them training, tell them about the ideology and make them workers. A thousand workers stand, but sometimes one worker says something and the hard work of those thousand workers goes in vain.

Gadkari said- I have no role in Maharashtra

Gadkari was asked that after the defeat in Maharashtra in the Lok Sabha elections, Nadda and Amit Shah held several meetings with Maharashtra BJP leaders, but they were not present in these meetings. On this Gadkari said- I have no role in Maharashtra. The leaders here are capable. I will be available whenever they need me.

Gadkari further said in the interview that the government and administration should be secular. A person may or may not be secular, but the state, government and administration should be secular. Apart from this, during an election rally in Arvi, Gadkari accused Congress of not developing rural areas.

Gadkari said- Congress never thought seriously about the development of rural India. If rural India was given priority, farmers would not have committed suicide and there would have been no poverty in villages. In India’s 75-year history, Congress has consistently neglected the development of rural areas.
