Dr Aqib, one of the members of the Junior Doctors Front, had told ANI that after a meeting with the Chief Secretary, they have taken a promise from the state government to improve their security.

Junior Doctors Front had said that they have achieved a lot during this movement. They forced the Kolkata Police Commissioner and DME, DHS to resign. Even after this, it is not enough and they will take this movement forward in a new way.

After the strike was called off, the junior doctors have been assured that their safety will be taken care of. It has not been made clear when. On this, the junior doctors say that they still demand that the Chief Secretary be removed.
