Nora says- I did not make any preparation before coming into the film industry. I thought that I would become a star as soon as I reached Mumbai. I packed my clothes and came to Mumbai. After coming here I realized that there is a lot to learn. I did not know Hindi. Hindi was a foreign language to me. First of all he learned Hindi and prepared himself as a performer.

Got inspiration from Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandes

Nora says- I never thought of working in Bollywood. Before coming into the industry, I had seen films like ‘Devdas’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. I used to think that only Indian girls could become actresses in Bollywood. I got inspiration to work in Bollywood from Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandes. Then I started giving a lot of auditions.

Cheated of Rs 20 lakh by promising to get work

Before making a mark in Bollywood, I was cheated. I told you that when I came to India from Canada, my first agency promised me work. On his request I gave Rs 20 lakh. But later his behavior changed. When I talked about leaving the agency and asking for the money back, they clearly said that the money would not be received.

At that time I lost Rs 20 lakh. This was the same money I had earned by working in an advertisement.

Got recognition from ‘Bigg Boss 9’

In the year 2015, Nora got a chance to participate in the popular TV reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9’. His journey in the show did not last long, but it started giving him recognition among the audience. After this he got small and big opportunities in many dance performances and films.

Nora Fatehi made her Bollywood debut in 2014 with the film ‘Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans’. After this he also got offers for many films from South Industry. Nora was seen in the song ‘Manohari’ from the superhit film ‘Bahubali’ released in 2015.

Nora Fatehi was recently embroiled in controversy regarding the song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ from the film ‘KD: The Devil’.
