Rahul Gandhi was on a tour of his parliamentary constituency Rae Bareli, where During the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) meeting, there was a sharp debate between him and Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh in the UP government. In the video, the two leaders are responding to each other’s words which are showing political tension between the two. A video of this incident is also going viral on social media.

The video can be seen that Rahul Gandhi Said that he is the chairman of the direction meeting and hence should be discussed only by asking them. On this, Minister Dinesh Pratap Singh retorted and said, “When you do not agree to the Speaker in the Lok Sabha, I am not obliged to obey him here.” This statement further increased the tension in the meeting.

Rahul wrote a letter to Rae Bareli DM

Earlier, Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter to the District Magistrate (DM) and expressed displeasure at not being completed from the time of MP fund work and not updating these works on MP Lad portal.

He complained that the work of MP fund is not being completed on time, due to which development works are being delayed. Gandhi demanded that these works be completed in a timely manner and regular update on the portal.

In the letter, he appealed to the DM and wrote that I appeal to you to check the reasons for the delay in approval and implementation of MPLADS works. I also request you to instruct the concerned authorities to ensure timely reporting and speed up the progress of recommended works.

Manoj Pandey boycott the meeting

Amethi MP KL Sharma and Minister of State in Disha meeting Dinesh Pratap Singh Many public representatives were present, but Unchahar MLA Manoj Kumar Pandey boycotted the meeting and went out.

Former Samajwadi Party leader Pandey was expelled from the party for working against the party’s principles and supporting the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections.

Talking to the media after the meeting, Pandey claimed that he raised the issue of alleged derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother in Bihar.

He said that he has submitted a written proposal to the leader of the Lok Sabha and all the attendees, in which he appealed to condemn the insult of the Prime Minister’s mother.

Pandey criticized Rahul

Pandey also criticized Gandhi and claimed that he has not resolved the shortage of ICU beds in AIIMS here. He questioned how many times the Congress leader has raised the voice of Rae Bareli in Parliament since he became an MP.

He challenged Gandhi to apologize to the country for his allegations against the Election Commission and list his works done for Rae Bareli from 2024.
