Speaking to the media after meeting Kharge, CM Siddaramaiah said that we discussed party organization, local body elections and district/taluk panchayat elections. There was no discussion on the cabinet. The change in leadership is just speculation, a creation of the media.

Shivkumar had given this statement when the MLAs went to Delhi

A few days ago, Deputy CM Shivkumar had given a detailed clarification on the social media platform He had written, “All 140 MLAs are my MLAs. It is not in my blood to form any group. The Chief Minister and I have always said that we are fully committed to the decision of the high command.”

He also said that some MLAs going to Delhi was not a sign of any political pressure or factionalism, but it was a normal political behavior to meet the leadership before the possible cabinet expansion. He clearly said, “The Chief Minister has decided that he will reshuffle the cabinet. It is everyone’s right to become a minister, so it is absolutely normal for MLAs to meet the leadership. We cannot stop anyone.”

Expressing full support towards Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar had said, “The CM has said that he will complete his five-year tenure. I wish him all the best and we will all work together with him.”
