Oprah’s company was given Rs 8 crore for the show after a program on 15 October. According to a report by Washington Examiner, Kamala has spent crores of rupees in the presidential election.
Kamala’s party has spent more than Rs 16 thousand crore in its election campaign. This expenditure is Rs 3 thousand crore more than the expenditure of the Republican Party. Republican Party has spent Rs 13 thousand crores.

Kamala spent 168 crores for the concert
A day before the elections, Kamala had also organized seven swing state concerts. According to a report in the New York Post, Kamala’s campaign team had spent more than $20 million (Rs 168 crore) on these concerts. This expense could have increased further, but some celebrities could not attend the concert.

Highest spending in 7 swing states
The largest part of election expenditure has been spent on 7 states. These seven states are Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada. Both parties spent more than $1.8 billion on television ads in these states.
$494 million was spent in Pennsylvania alone. This expenditure increased after Joe Biden’s announcement of his exit from the elections. Advertising spending from March to Biden’s announcement in July was $336 million. But a month after the announcement, spending reached $410 million, later surpassing the billion mark.

The most expensive general election after 2020
The two parties together have spent more than $3.5 billion on the 2024 presidential elections. Due to this, the total expenditure of elections this time reached close to 16 billion dollars.
After 2020, this election has become the most expensive general election in history. The total expenditure of elections in the year 2020 was 18 billion dollars.
Both parties raised $4.2 billion from party committees, outside groups, and election campaigns. Kamala Harris left Trump behind in this and collected 2.3 billion dollars. Out of which $1.9 billion was spent.
Whereas Trump’s Republican Party collected $1.8 billion and spent $1.6 billion. This makes the 2024 US general election one of the most expensive elections in history.
