Comedian Kapil Sharma has received death threats through e-mail from Pakistan. Apart from Kapil, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza and comedian Sugandha Mishra have also received life threats.
It is written in the e-mail – We are keeping an eye on your activity. We have brought a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request you to take this very seriously and maintain confidentiality.
At the end of the e-mail from Pakistan it is written – If this is not done then it can affect your professional and personal life. We would like a response to this email within the next 8 hours. If you don’t do this then we will assume that you have not taken it seriously. We will take action against you. We are not Bishnoi.
Police said- the matter is being investigated
Rajpal Yadav has lodged an FIR at Amboli police station in Andheri. Besides, Mumbai Police has also received a complaint from Sugandha Mishra and Remo. Police have said that the matter is being investigated.
