Case was filed on 4 January 2021 Mahinder Kaur (81), resident of village Bahadurgarh in Bathinda, had filed a defamation case on January 4, 2021, after Kangana’s tweet. The hearing lasted for about 13 months, after which the Bathinda court issued summons to Kangana and ordered her to appear.
After this, Kangana had filed a relief petition in the Punjab-Haryana High Court, which was rejected. After this she reached the Supreme Court. Kangana did not get relief from anywhere. Now he was asked to appear in Bathinda court.
