Bollywood actors Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan have never worked together in the same film. Now producer Ratan Jain told that there was a plan to cast both of them together in the film Josh. However, later Shahrukh and Chandrachud Singh played the roles which were earlier decided for Shahrukh and Aamir. Aishwarya Rai was also in this film and the role of Aishwarya’s brother was also offered to Salman Khan. Which he was also ready to do.

Recently, Ratan Jain told in a conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh that he wanted Shahrukh to play the role of Max in the film, but the film’s director Mansoor Khan wanted Aamir to play the role of Max.

Let us tell you that Mansoor is Aamir Khan’s cousin. Aamir started his career with Mansoor’s film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Ratan Jain has produced hit Hindi films like Khiladi, Baazigar and Dhadkan.

Ratan said, “We had decided that Aamir would play the role played by Chandrachud and Shahrukh would play Max. Mansoor said that Aamir wanted to do Max. I said, ‘Absolutely not, only Shahrukh will play this role, otherwise I will not make the film.'”

Ratan told that when Shahrukh came to know that Aamir also wanted to do the same role, he asked the director and the team to have a joint narration.

Ratan said, “Before the narration started, Mansoor said that Aamir wanted to do Max. Due to which Shahrukh wore his shoes and left. He said, ‘Then I will not do this film.’

After Shahrukh left the project, Mansoor talked about taking Aamir for the role of Max, but Ratan did not agree to it. Later both the stars left the film and the film got stalled for some time.

The film Josh was released in the year 2000.

Salman was also offered a film

Let us tell you that after Aamir and Shahrukh left the film, the role of Max was offered to Salman Khan. Ratan Jain told, “Salman agreed. We also talked to Akshay Khanna, Saif Ali Khan and Chandrachud Singh, but the director wanted only Chandrachud.”

But meanwhile Salman got Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. Ratan told that Salman took more interest in that film and his talks for the film Josh did not work out.

Ratan told that after this he again went to Shahrukh and said that the question of the film is about my respect. After this Shahrukh called the next day and said that he was doing a film. This is how Shahrukh played the role of Max in the film.

Aishwarya Rai was signed in the film when the role of Max was not finalized. She played the role of Shahrukh’s sister in the film. Later, both were seen in romantic roles with each other in the film Mohabbatein. At the same time, Aishwarya also worked with Salman in the film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
