Instructions to officials to remain alert in UP
The most severe heat of this season was recorded in Madhya Pradesh on Monday. The mercury was recorded at 46.8°C in Khajuraho, 45.4°C in Ujjain, 45.1°C in Khandwa. The temperature in Bhopal was 44°C. Due to strong sunlight, asphalt of roads melted at many places.
UP CM Yogi has instructed all the District Magistrates, Health Department, Electricity Department and relief agencies to remain in alert mode. Also asked to keep ambulance services active. CM has instructed officers to enter the field and keep special vigil on sensitive districts and complete relief and rescue preparations in time.
