If a flight is delayed by 2 to 4 hours due to a technical glitch, the airline has to provide free snacks, food and water to the passengers. If the delay is overnight or extends beyond 24 hours, it is the responsibility of the company to provide free hotel accommodation and transportation for the passengers.
Additionally, the airline is required to provide accurate flight updates every half-hour, and if you wish, you can cancel your trip and get a full refund or choose another flight at no extra cost.
