US President Donald Trump has talked about reviewing Iran’s new peace proposal, but expressed doubts about its success. He said Iran has not yet paid the price for its crimes.
Trump said on his social media platform that he will look at the proposal sent by Iran soon, but the chances of it being accepted are low. He says that Iran is yet to pay a heavy price for what it has done in the last 47 years.
In fact, according to Iranian agencies, Tehran has sent a 14-point proposal to America through Pakistan. This includes ending conflict on all fronts and creating a new framework for the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that now America has to decide whether it wants dialogue or confrontation. Iran is ready for both options.

Iranian officials said – do not trust America
Senior Iranian army officer Mohammad Jafar Asadi said yesterday that America cannot be trusted and there could be another war between the two countries.
He said that Iran’s army is fully prepared and if America takes any wrong step, it will respond. He alleged that America does not follow any agreement or promise.
Asadi said that the statements and actions of US officials are mostly for show and for the media. Their objective is to first stop oil prices from falling and second to get out of the difficult situation they have created.
Iran’s allegation – America is not following the nuclear deal
Iran has accused America of not following the nuclear deal. Iran said in the United Nations on Saturday that America is not following the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and its behavior has double standards.
Iran said in the statement that America has not been following its responsibilities under this treaty for the last 56 years. Whereas it has thousands of nuclear weapons.
Iran also said that if work is carried out under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, there is no legal restriction on uranium enrichment, as was the case with Iran.
Iran is preparing to bring a new law regarding Hormuz
Amidst the ongoing discussion regarding ceasefire talks with America, Iran is preparing to bring a new law regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
Deputy Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Hamidreza Haji-Babai said that under this law, Israeli ships will not be allowed to pass through this sea route. He said that the proposed bill also states that ships of enemy countries will be able to pass only if they pay war compensation.
Apart from this, ships from other countries will also have to take permission from Iran, only then they will be able to use this route. Haji-Babai said that now the movement of ships in Hormuz will not be the same as before and the situation will change after the war.

World at risk of food crisis due to Iran war
Maximo Torero, chief economist of the United Nations (UN) organization FAO, has warned that the world is moving towards a major food crisis.
He said that the supply of fertilizer has been badly affected due to the closure of Hormuz. Since the start of the war, its supply has almost stopped, due to which prices are increasing and there is also shortage.
This will affect farming and crop yields may decrease by up to 30%. Due to this, food items may become more expensive. Torero told Al Jazeera that the situation is getting worse because the time for sowing in Asia has passed.
He also said that big countries like America and Brazil may change their crops and grow soybean instead of wheat and corn, which will further impact the market.
