Imran is not allowed to meet anyone in jail.

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he has been imprisoned in a cage like a terrorist. According to Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Imran said on Saturday that he is living in a 7 by 8 feet prison. His height is 6 feet 2 inches. Because of this, he is having difficulty moving.

Imran said that I am always under the surveillance of the agencies. I am monitored 24 hours a day. I am not even allowed to meet anyone. Imran has been in jail for almost a year.

According to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Imran is enjoying royal facilities in Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi.

Former Prime Minister Imran Khan was arrested in a new case just 9 days ago.

Imran said- one day I will be released from jail
Imran Khan said that he will be released from jail one day. He said that he plans about the future of Pakistan every day. People believe in me amidst the bad condition of Pakistan. I have full faith in God. One day justice will triumph over tyranny.

Pakistan’s Information Minister Ataullah Tarar said that Imran has been given an exercise cycle, a working gallery and a kitchen in the jail. He is being given a luxurious menu of food.

Khan has more than 100 cases against him
More than 100 cases are pending against Imran Khan. The local court of Islamabad convicted him in the Toshakhana case on August 5, 2023. After this, he was arrested from his house in Zaman Park, Islamabad and sent to jail. Later he was convicted in 2 more cases. According to the English newspaper Dawn, if Imran comes out of jail, he will raise the demand for re-election in Pakistan.

Imran’s Tehreek-e-Insaf party could not officially participate in the general elections held this year. In a post on Imran Khan’s X (Twitter) account on July 5, the general elections held on February 8 this year were called fake. In such a situation, the Shahbaz government or the army would not want Khan to be released at any cost.

Imran was released in all the three cases in which he was convicted

Case- 1 Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband, Khawar Farid Maneka, had accused Bushra and Imran of marrying in an un-Islamic manner. Khan married her before the completion of the Iddat period after Bushra’s divorce.

Bushra and Imran were convicted in this case on 3 February. They were sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment and fined 5 lakh Pakistani rupees. They were released in this case today.

Case-2 Earlier, on June 3, the Islamabad High Court acquitted Imran Khan in the Cipher Case (secret letter theft) due to lack of evidence. He was sentenced to 10 years by a special court in Islamabad. Imran Khan was taken into custody on 29 August 2023 in the Cipher Gate scandal.

Case-3 Khan was released in the Toshakhana case on April 1. His 14-year sentence was quashed.

Won the most seats even while being in jail
General elections were held in Pakistan on 8 February. Before this, Khan was convicted in 3 cases one after the other. Due to this, he could not participate in the elections. Before the elections, his party’s election symbol was taken away. All the party leaders contested the elections independently. Despite this, supporters of Khan’s party PTI got 93 seats out of 342 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
