Four Punjabi youths have died in a road accident in Italy. Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Sechewal has started efforts to bring the bodies of these youths back home. He gave Foreign Minister S.K. Contacted Jaishankar and requests to order bodies to India soon

The tragic incident occurred on 5 October due to a fierce collision between a car and a truck in Italy. In the accident, Harvinder Singh (Ghorbah), Surjit Singh (Pind Meda), Manoj Kumar (Adampur) and Jaskaran Singh (District Ropar) died on the spot.
Family of the deceased pleaded for help
The family members of Harvinder Singh and Surjit Singh contacted the office of Saint Sechewal and requested for help. After this, Saint Seechewal took immediate action and started the process of bringing the body of the four youths to India. Pind Meda resident Mukhtiar Singh said that his brother Surjit Singh went to Italy about nine months ago.
The family has only three acres of land, on which he used to cultivate with two of his brothers. Surjeet had earlier also worked in Dubai due to limited income, but he had moved to Italy for not getting success there. The brother of Harvinder Singh, a resident of Ghorbah, said that he had sent his brother abroad with a loan of four and a half lakh rupees to remove the poverty of the family.
Harvinder Singh used to break broccoli in Italy. His father has been suffering from cancer for the last 6 years and Harvinder was the only earner at home. The whole family is shocked by the news of his death.
