The next day the two leaders stayed together on a journey from Tokyo to Sendai by Shinkansen Bullet Train. During this, they dined together and also visited the Tokyo Electronics Factory. In this way, the two leaders appeared together for most of the two days.

Japan has made a big announcement during PM Modi’s visit. In the next 10 years, there will be a private investment of 10 trillion yen in India, which is considered to be the most important achievement of this visit. This journey has fixed the direction of India-Japan relations for the coming decade. The most important part of this roadmap is-‘India-Japan Joint Vision for the Next Decade’ … This includes many important areas from economic development to security, technology, innovation, health, sustainable development, mobility and mutual exchange.
There were many important agreements in areas such as defense, human resource exchange, digital innovation, critical minerals, clean energy, space cooperation and cultural partnership between India and Japan.
Partnership in two-party support
One special thing about this tour is that the India-Japan partnership has a second-party support in Japan. Prime Minister Modi met two former Japanese Prime Ministers Yoshihide Suga and Phumio Kishida. Apart from this, he also discussed with the Speaker of Parliament and a group of MPs.
Not only this, under a unique initiative, the governors of 16 prefects of Japan (which are equivalent to the Chief Ministers in India) came to Tokyo and met PM Modi. Such state-level engagement is a unique example of the depth of India-Japan relations.
