India Women defeated Sri Lanka by 15 runs in the fifth T20 to win the series 5-0. The team won the T20 series for the third time by a margin of 5-0, before this the team had also defeated West Indies and Bangladesh by the same margin. Sri Lanka chose bowling on Tuesday in Thiruvananthapuram. India scored 175 runs losing 7 wickets. Sri Lanka could score only 160 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored a fifty for India at the Greenfield Stadium. He scored 68 runs in 43 balls with 9 fours and 1 six. Arundhati Reddy scored 27 runs and Amanjot Kaur scored 21 runs. Chamari Atapattu, Kavisha Dilhari and Rashmika Sewandi took 2 wickets each from Sri Lanka.
