आयुष्मान खुराना ने शूटर मेघना सज्जनार को गिफ्ट की राइफल: एशियन चैंपियनशिप में गोल्ड जीता; बोलीं- इससे बराबरी का मौका मिला

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana has sponsored Modern Rifle to Indian shooter Meghna Sajjanar. Meghna, who was struggling with lack of better equipment, got a chance to train with a world class rifle with the help of Ayushmann.

After this, Meghna recently won gold medal in 10 meter air rifle team event and bronze medal in individual event in the Asian Shooting Championship held at Karni Singh Shooting Range, Delhi.

‘He didn’t even know me, he just wanted to see India win’

Meghna told in a social media post that Ayushmann did not know her before and both of them had never even met. He wrote that Ayushmann just wanted an Indian athlete to bring glory to the country on the world stage.

Meghna said the rifle created a ‘level playing field’ for her. This allowed her to train without compromise and face the world’s best shooters.

2 bronze in World Championship also

Meghna has represented India at the international level. He has won bronze medals in the ISSF World Championships of 2022 and 2025. Also in the Asian Championships, he won gold in the team event and bronze in the individual event.

Lack of better equipment became a challenge

Meghna did not have good equipment for training. When Ayushmann came to know about their problem, he helped them without personal identification. Getting the rifle gave Meghna an opportunity to prepare with better equipment.
