Bengaluru Police arrested a youth from West Bengal due to terrorist connections. The youth has been identified as 25 year old Asafool Malik. He was caught from Bommasandra Industrial Area on August 11. He worked as a security guard in Jigani, Bengaluru. The information has now come to light. Malik is accused of plotting attacks in India and Pakistan in collaboration with a member of the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). According to the police, Malik wanted to join TTP and carry out attacks against the Pakistan Army. He was caught in Jigani area of Bengaluru for suspicious online activities and alleged links with terrorist organizations. Contact with a person from Afghanistan on Facebook Police claims that Malik had earlier contacted a person from Afghanistan named Imran Haider on Facebook. Imran Haider is suspected to be associated with TTP. Was angry about the atrocities being committed against Muslims in Pakistan. According to the police, during interrogation, Malik told that he was angry about the atrocities being committed against Muslims in Pakistan. He believed that the Pakistani army was attacking mosques and common people. Malik had also expressed displeasure over Pakistan’s stand on the Israel-Palestine dispute.
