The victim woman is admitted to Silchar Medical Hospital.
In Dholai police station area of Kachar district of Assam, a woman raped a woman in front of her 2 children and escaped by putting acid on her. The incident is on 22 January, which now came to light.
After the incident, when the victim’s husband reached home, he opened the tied hands and feet of the woman lying on the ground and took him to the hospital. The condition of the woman is said to be critical.
According to the Silchar police, the complaint of the case was made on 23 January. A few hours before the incident, the victim had a fight with the neighbor over something. So far two suspects have been arrested.
The accused had forcibly entered the house a day earlier
According to reports, the accused is a driver by profession. Even a day before the incident, he entered the victim’s house. He asked the woman to ask for her phone number. On refusal, he argued and went away threatening to harm. The next day he again entered the house and forced the woman. The police have registered a case based on the statement of the woman’s 6 -year -old son.
The victim’s husband said- the accused has been molested even before women
The victim’s husband said that the accused had misbehaved with the women of the area earlier. He targets married women, asks for numbers from them and also writes objectionable things about women. On several occasions, the local people resolved such issues by meeting, but they did not stop all these actions. Both my children saw complete torture and they are also in shock.
