Ashok Pandit, chief advisor of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has made a big claim in the film ‘Don 3’ controversy. He told Hindi Rush that before issuing non-cooperation instructions against actor Ranveer Singh, he himself had read the private WhatsApp chats of Ranveer and director Farhan Akhtar. Ranveer had left the film after everything was finalized, hence action was taken against him. However, after receiving a legal notice from Ranveer Singh, the Federation had now withdrawn this instruction of non-cooperation issued against him.

Ashok Pandit, Chief Advisor, Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).
Action was taken after seeing private WhatsApp chat Ashok Pandit said that before taking any action against the actor, the entire procedure was followed and the documents were examined in depth. He said, “After receiving the complaint, we saw WhatsApp chats between Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
It was clear from the chat that styling for the film had been completed, clothes were finalized, tickets had been booked and hotel arrangements had also been made. The entire unit was scheduled to leave for shooting in three weeks, but Ranveer backed out at the last moment.”
Disadvantages of leaving the film three weeks before shooting Ashok Pandit said that director Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani of the film ‘Don 3’ had filed a complaint with the Federation about five months ago. The makers said that they had spent Rs 45 crore on the pre-production of the film.
Ashok Pandit defended the makers and said that such expenses are common in a film with a budget of Rs 300 crore. No producer spends so much money without the firm consent of the actor. The makers are also ready to show the complete audit paper of this expenditure of Rs 45 crore.

Instructions removed after Ranveer’s legal notice In the month of May, the Federation had issued instructions of non-cooperation against Ranveer Singh for suddenly leaving the film. Against this, Ranveer Singh sent a legal notice to the Federation through his legal team, demanding removal of this instruction.
Just a day later, Federation President BN Tiwari announced the withdrawal of this instruction on the request of other organizations of the cinema world, CINTAA and IMPAA. However, the legal team of the Federation will definitely give a legal reply to Ranveer’s notice.

No right to ban, solution through dialogue Ashok Pandit also made it clear that the objective of the federation is not to stop anyone’s work. He said, “We respect Ranveer’s stardom. We have no right to ban anyone. We have appealed to Ranveer to come and sit with us and find a middle path on this matter.”
Now Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Ranveer Singh are ready to sit together and compensate for this loss and resolve the dispute so that the work on the film can start again.

Know what is the dispute between Ranveer and Farhan Akhtar Don 3 was announced about three years ago, which Farhan Akhtar was going to direct. The controversy started when Ranveer Singh left the film in December last year after the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ due to differences in the script. According to reports, before Ranveer left the film, the makers had spent a lot on outdoor locations and production.
To compensate for the loss caused by Ranveer’s departure, the producers demanded Rs 45 crore from him. Ranveer initially refused to give money, but later offered Rs 10 crore, which was rejected by the makers.
