South actor Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s film ‘Raaka’ has made a big record in its name even before its release. The film has officially achieved the Guinness World Record for ‘Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time’. The motion of 37 performers was tracked and captured in real-time simultaneously during a single session. From 4 year old children to 70 year old artists were involved in this recording process. To prepare this large-scale setup, the makers had set up their base in India by importing modern technology and equipment from Los Angeles. 92 motion capture cameras were used to complete the motion capture sessions of the film. 92 optical motion-capture cameras were used. Along with this, real-time unreal visualization, facial capture and advanced network systems were synced together. In Sun Pictures’ video, motion capture technical director Brian Roush said that people think that animation is achieved by just pressing a button, but that is not the case. Cinematographer GK Vishnu said that there are many motion-capture characters in the film, among whom a lot of action and interaction will be seen. Modern equipment was brought from Los Angeles: Director Atlee said that motion-capture stations were present in India, but the bigger vision of ‘Raaka’ required a setup with more capacity. For this he talked to Sun Pictures producer Kalanithi Maran. After getting the producer’s approval, all the necessary equipment was brought from Los Angeles to India and a new base was established. The film’s VFX producers then created a new motion-capture pipeline and workflow to suit the needs of ‘Raaka’. Allu Arjun said – Turning vision into reality is a big thing. On this achievement, Allu Arjun said that many people have ideas and vision, but completing it with this level of quality is a big thing. He credited this success to director Atlee, the entire technical team and Sun Pictures for supporting such a big project. Allu Arjun can play 4 roles in the film ‘Raaka’ is a big budget science-fiction action drama film. According to reports, Allu Arjun can be seen playing four different characters in the film, which include the role of grandfather, father and two sons. It is also discussed that the story of the film may be based on the concept of parallel universe, although the makers have not yet officially confirmed it. The film stars Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Jhanvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles. Allu Arjun and Atlee are working together in a project for the first time.
