Harris leads Trump by two points in Economist/YouGov polls.
The high voltage drama of lead and lag continues in the US elections. Within 10 days of US President Joe Biden’s announcement of withdrawing from the race, Kamala Harris has turned the tables. According to the Morning Consult poll, Kamala is now ahead of Republican candidate Donald Trump in 4 out of 7 important states.
Trump is leading in 2 states. The contest is equal on one seat. Whereas when Biden was in the election fray, he was lagging behind Trump in all these states. On the other hand, Kamala has further increased her influence in the Democratic Party.
According to the AP-NORC poll, Biden had the support of 35% of Democrats as a candidate, whereas Kamala has so far got the support of 80% of Democrats.
According to experts, Kamala Harris has received the support of all 3900 delegates before the Democratic convention starting on August 19.
Harris leads in 4 polls, Trump leads in 8
After Biden’s exit from the election, the Democratic Party has gained. Kamala Harris is ahead of Trump in at least 4 polls. However, Trump is still ahead in more polls. Trump is ahead of Harris in at least 8 polls, although the margin between them is decreasing here.
In the Economist/YouGov polls released on Wednesday, Harris is ahead of Trump by two points. Kamala is liked by 46% of the voters while Trump is liked by 44%.
Harris is ahead by one point in the Reuters/Ipsos polls released on Tuesday. In this, Kamala is preferred by 43% people while Trump is preferred by 42% people.
The margin between Kamala and Trump is continuously decreasing.
Kamala said- now the fight is to save the country
Kamala said at an election rally in Michigan on Wednesday that now the fight is to save the future of the country. We have achieved independence with hard work, we cannot lose it at any cost. She said, forces that want to break the country are active, they want to abolish the Constitution.
Kamala challenged former President Trump to come to the second debate on September 10 and said that he should not accuse her from behind. He should come forward and speak in the debate, then he will get the answer.
Kamala said that Trump’s entire election campaign is a bundle of lies. I will expose it. Kamala said, now the wind is in favor of the Democratic Party. Trump is looking for excuses to not come to the debate.
