Just 7 days before the elections in America, incidents of ballot box fire have come to light at two places. The first case is from Vancouver, Washington where a ballot box caught fire. Hundreds of ballot papers collected in it were burnt to ashes.
The second incident of ballot box burning occurred in Portland, Oregon. How the fire started is not yet known. Election officials are trying to trace the people who set the fire through CCTV footage.
According to CNN, a ballot box caught fire at 3:30 a.m. Monday in Portland. However, most of the ballot papers were saved from burning. Only three ballot papers were burnt.
Elections official Tim Scott said voters whose ballot papers were burned will be contacted and given new ballots.
At the same time, hundreds of ballot papers have been burnt in the burnt ballot box in Vancouver. Laura Shepard, spokeswoman for the Directorate of Elections in Vancouver, has requested everyone who cast a ballot in this box after 11 a.m. Saturday to verify their ballot.

Cases are being investigated by sealing the ballot boxes affected by the incident.
FBI spokesman Steve Berndt says these incidents are being investigated with the help of state and local agencies.
Negligence despite warnings from security agencies These incidents occurred after warnings from the FBI and Homeland Security. Agencies had warned that extremists could incite violence during the elections.
Recently, other similar incidents have also come to light. A mailbox caught fire outside a post office in Phoenix, Arizona. Here a person has been accused of arson, although the police say that this was not an election related matter.
The ballot boxes where the fire occurred are located 15 miles apart. The Vancouver box is in a high-profile area where incumbent representative Mary Glusenkamp Perez is facing off against Republican Joe Kent.
Attempt to attack Trump twice

There have been two attempts to kill former President Trump in this election.
Election violence has become common in America, which is said to be the world’s oldest democracy. There have been attempts to assassinate former President Donald Trump twice in this election. According to a recent survey by the Economic Times, 75% of American voters are afraid of possible election violence.
Even before this, four presidents have been assassinated in America. Apart from these four, 16 other former Presidents have also narrowly escaped such attacks. Even after the 2020 elections, Trump supporters indulged in arson and vandalism, falsifying the election results.
In American markets, on the day of election results, due to fear of arson and looting, shopkeepers down their shutters and shield their shops with plywood.
