Police has arrested Mohammad Ayaz alias Tanveer, the main accused of sexual exploitation of more than 180 minor girls in Parvada of Amravati district in Maharashtra. He was produced in the court, from where he was sent to police custody for seven days. More than 350 obscene videos have been found with the accused through which he was blackmailing girls. Police bulldozed the house of Mohammad Ayaz in Paratwada on Wednesday. Three associates of the accused have also been arrested. According to the police, the accused used to trap the girls in “love trap”, taking them to Mumbai and Pune and making obscene videos of them. Through these videos, he used to blackmail them and force them into prostitution. After the complaint of Rajya Sabha MP Anil Bonde, the police took immediate action. He had also given a memorandum to Rural SP Vishal Anand demanding formation of a SIT to investigate the matter. It has been told in the complaint that the accused used to target minor girls through WhatsApp and Snapchat groups. He would take them with him by luring them into the trap of love and then exploit them. It has been told that the cyber cell is now investigating whether the accused had shared these videos with his friends or any organized gang or not. Meanwhile, the police have seized the mobile phone of the accused. According to sources, many objectionable videos have been found in this device, which are being investigated with the help of cyber cell. In this case, some people from the local Muslim community also reached the police station and demanded strict action against the accused. He said that such cases tarnish the image of the entire community, hence strict action is necessary. While the accused was also in AIMIM, the accused is also said to be related to MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM. In the videos and photos available on his social media, he is seen attending party programs and taking a letter from Amravati President Haji Irfan Khan. However, after the matter came to light, many videos have been removed from his Instagram account. The police are now investigating the entire matter in depth.
