Maharashtra’s Cyber Police has arrested a person in a case related to asking for nude pictures from Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s daughter Nitara Kumar.
According to IANS report, Maharashtra Cyber Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Yashasvi Yadav informed about the arrest on Friday. He said that after investigation the accused was taken into custody.
According to officials, Nitara was playing an online game when objectionable messages were sent to her. The accused had demanded her to send nude photos.
Maharashtra Cyber Department has arrested Mumbai’s R.D. A special session on cyber awareness was also organized in the National College. During this, ADGP Yashasvi Yadav told that this information had reached the officials through Akshay Kumar.
Nitara had earlier told this to her parents at home. He said that Nitara showed courage and immediately told her parents about this, after which the matter reached the cyber police and action was taken.
During this, an old video of Akshay Kumar from October 2025 was also played, in which he had mentioned this incident. He had told that initially there was a normal conversation during the game, but later the stranger first asked about the location, then asked about gender and then demanded to send nude photos.

Last year, Akshay Kumar had told that while playing an online game, nude photos were asked from his daughter. On October 3, 2025, Akshay Kumar had attended the inaugural program of Mumbai Police’s ‘Cyber Awareness Month 2025’. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, senior police officers were also present in this program.

At that time she was playing with an unknown person. When you play games, sometimes messages start coming from there. A message came, are you a boy or a girl? My daughter replied girl. After that the person sent a message asking can you send your nude pictures? He immediately stopped the game and went and told his mother Twinkle. This is where things start. This is also a part of cyber crime.
The magazine was also released in the cyber awareness program of Mumbai Police.
Akshay Kumar had told CM Devendra Fadnavis that in our Maharashtra state, there should be a ‘cyber period’ every week for the children of classes 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th, in which they should be explained about this.
Akshay and Twinkle have two children, son Aarav and daughter Nitara.
Akshay Kumar’s daughter Nitara is 13 years old. The actor often keeps his daughter safe from the eyes of the media. Although, he occasionally shares photos with his daughter on social media, Nitara’s face is hidden in most of the photos.
