Comedian Sunil Pal reached a court in Meerut on Monday. Here he identified two accused caught in the kidnapping case of 2024.
During this, 58 year old Sunil Pal looked very emotional. He told that even after 16 months of that accident, he is in deep shock and his normal life has completely changed.
The kidnapping was done with the intention of robbery This entire matter is of December 2024. Sunil Pal was invited to perform at an event in Haridwar. They were allegedly kidnapped while they were traveling on the National Highway. The accused had kept him hostage for about 24 hours and later released him.
Sunil told that the event was actually a hoax to trap him. Now in this case he had come to Meerut court with his lawyer and friend to testify.
10 kg weight lost in 16 months After coming out of the court, Sunil Pal shared his ordeal with the media. He said, I have been living under immense stress for the last 16 months. Because of this fear and nervousness, I have lost 10 kg of weight.
Now the situation is such that even in Mumbai, if any unknown person stands near me, I look at him with suspicion. The incident of that one day has broken me mentally.
Do not leave the house without informing Sunil Pal told that now he hesitates to go anywhere alone. “I still feel unsafe,” he said. Whenever I have to go out of the house, I first call my friend Sahib Alam. I give him complete information about where I am going and why I am going. For safety reasons, I also send the number and photo of the vehicle in which I travel to my friend. A fear always remains in the mind.
Case background After this incident that took place in December 2024, the police took swift action and detained some suspects. Sunil Pal has expressed confidence in the working methodology of Meerut Police. After the identification of the accused, legal action in this case is expected to intensify further. Sunil says that he just wants justice so that this does not happen to any other artist in future.
