The Pink E-Rickshaw Support Initiative was launched under the Women-Led Green Mobility Program of Bhamla Foundation on the occasion of World Environment Day on Sunday. Bhamla Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Mumbai. It was started by Asif Bhamla in the year 1995. Initially this organization worked on issues related to social and national unity. Later it expanded the scope of its work. Today this organization runs many campaigns to save the environment, spread health awareness, uplift the youth and empower women.
