On Saturday, terrorists attacked the headquarters of paramilitary force Pakistan Rangers in Karachi, Pakistan. Three Rangers soldiers were killed in the attack. After the incident, security forces cordoned off the entire area and started a search and counter operation. Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho said that the terrorists came in a vehicle and entered the complex by breaking the main gate. As soon as the attack started, the sound of explosion was also heard. However, the police are still investigating what caused the explosion. Encounter begins after the attack Odho said that immediately after the attack the soldiers took charge and started an encounter with the terrorists. Three soldiers were killed in the initial firing. After this the surrounding roads were closed and the entire area was taken under security cordon. SSU and Anti Terrorist Force also deployed. Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjhar said that teams of Special Security Unit (SSU) and Anti Terrorist Force have also been sent to the spot to help the Rangers. Security forces are conducting a search operation in the complex, while the police is busy identifying the conspiracy behind the attack and the terrorists involved.
