Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday wrote a letter to javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra’s mother Saroj Devi thanking her for the churma. The PM hosted a dinner for the Prime Minister of Jamaica on October 1. Neeraj also attended the banquet, during which he gave churma made by his mother to the PM to eat.
Actually, before going to Paris for the Olympics, Neeraj had talked to Modi through video conferencing. Here Modi had requested Neeraj to feed him churma made by his mother.
Started the letter with Respected Saroj Devi Ji. Modi started his letter with ‘Respected Saroj Devi Ji’. He further wrote, ‘Regards! Hope you are healthy, safe and happy. Yesterday at the banquet I got the opportunity to meet brother Neeraj. While discussing with him, my happiness increased further when he gave me delicious churma made by your hands.
Modi said, ‘Neeraj often discusses this churma with him, but today he became emotional after eating it. This gift, full of your immense affection and affection, reminded me of my mother.

After winning the gold medal in Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj Chopra gifted his javelin to PM Modi.
Modi said, churma will give him the strength to serve the nation during Navratri. Modi said that he will fast for 9 days of Navratri. The way his food gives Neeraj the energy to win a medal for the country. Similarly, churma will give them the strength to serve the nation for the next 9 days. In the end Modi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Saroj Devi.

Neeraj was second in Diamond League These days Neeraj Chopra is practicing for the World Championship. Recently he was seen playing the Diamond League final in Brussels, Belgium. In which he stood second after Grenada’s Anderson Peters. Neeraj could only win a silver medal in the Paris Olympics, where Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan had won the gold.
