The problems of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) are increasing due to ICC’s demand to change the venue of T-20 World Cup. Amidst the dispute with BCCI, Indian sports manufacturing company Sansparils Greenlands (SG) has put sponsorship of many players like captain Liton Das and Mominul Haq on hold.

A company official told Dainik Bhaskar that in view of the current situation, we have put some sponsorship on hold. The Indian team has not been playing cricket with Bangladesh for a long time. In such a situation, there is no point in sponsoring the players there.

Because, the impact of any such decision can last for the next 10 years. After the removal of fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman from IPL, the relations between Bangladesh Cricket Board and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) are full of tension. In response, Bangladesh Finance Committee Chairman Nazmul called Tamim Iqbal an Indian agent.

BCB demanded change of venue for the second time BCB has asked ICC to change the venues of its matches for the second time in 5 days. He wrote the letter for the second time after discussions with Sports Ministry advisor Asif Nazrul. In this, BCB has given complete details of security related concerns to ICC. The Bangladeshi board had written the first letter on 4 January.

Bangladesh bans IPL broadcast After the release of Mustafizur from KKR, the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the government there had banned the telecast of IPL. He also refused to play World Cup match in India.

What is the whole controversy? On December 16, in the IPL mini auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bought Bangladeshi bowler Mustafizur Rahman for Rs 9.20 crore. After this, Mustafizur started being opposed in India due to the killing of Hindus in Bangladesh. So far 6 Hindus have been murdered there. Later BCCI did not allow Mustafizur to play IPL and on January 3, KKR released him.
