PM Modi will go to Miyagi province to see the advance E-10 coaches of bullet train on the second day of Japan tour. This train will be ready by 2030. Its top speed will be 400 km/h.

Japan and India are preparing to remove this advanced bullet train together. In India, they will be run on the high speed red corridor being built between Mumbai to Ahmedabad. According to reports, the Government of Japan will also gift 2 bullet trains (E3 and E5) to India.

Modi attended the 15th India-Japan Summit on Friday. During this time 150 agreements were signed in both countries. The Japanese PM spoke about investing 6 lakh crore rupees in India in the next 10 years.

After Japan, Modi will go to China on a two -day tour. They will attend the SCO Summit on Sunday. Apart from this, Modi will meet Chinese President Jinping and Russian President Putin.

Japan is helping in India’s bullet train project

India is building the country’s first high speed rail corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad for bullet train. Japan is helping India in this project.

In 2017, the then Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and PM Modi started the project from Ahmedabad. Its total cost is 1.08 lakh crore rupees.

The maximum speed of the bullet train on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will be 350 km/h. There is a distance of 508 km between the two cities, which will be completed in about 3 hours. Currently it takes 5 to 8 hours to cover this distance.
