There are flood like situations due to rain in many districts of Madhya Pradesh. Strong monsoon system is active. Sidhi-UP road is closed due to landslide in Muda valley of Kaimur mountain of Sidhi. There is a red alert for heavy rain in Tikamgarh and Damoh and orange alert in 13 districts. Due to continuous rains in UP, 23 districts are in the grip of floods. More than 16 thousand people have been rescued so far. 35 villages are submerged in floods in Pilibhit. Wildlife is coming out of the forests. A tiger was seen roaming in Kon village on Thursday. According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities will intensify in Rajasthan from September 4. There is a yellow alert of rain in Kota, Ajmer divisions along with Jaipur, Bharatpur. There is also a possibility of heavy rain at some places. It has been raining heavily intermittently for the last four days in Uttarakhand. Badrinath Highway closed after landslide in Chamoli.
