A sudden fire broke out at Loni police station in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night, due to which about 15 to 20 seized vehicles parked in the premises were set ablaze. According to the police, no one was injured in the incident.

As soon as information about the incident was received, three vehicles of the fire department reached the spot. At present the cause of the fire has not been known.

Fire broke out due to electrical short circuit in chawl in Central Mumbai

A fire broke out in a chawl in front of Reliance Mall near DB Marg in Mumbai Central area on Sunday. Many shops and rooms were engulfed in fire. However no one was injured.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) fire brigade, police, BEST employees and ward staff reached the spot and started relief work.

According to Congress MLA Amin Patel, the fire broke out between 10:30 and 10:45 pm. Initially it is believed to be a fire caused by electrical short circuit.

Theft of Rs 1 crore in Delhi; 5 accused arrested

In the case of theft of Rs 1 crore in an apartment in Madhu Vihar, Delhi, the police have arrested five accused and recovered a major part of the stolen goods. According to the police, a complaint of theft was lodged on April 4.

The complainant said that he had locked the house at around 7:30 pm on March 31, but when he returned the next day, he found the locks broken. About Rs 12 lakh in cash along with gold, silver and diamond jewelery worth Rs 1 crore were stolen from the house.

During the investigation of the case, the police scanned the footage of more than 150 CCTV cameras in the surrounding area. While tracking the movements of the accused, their escape route was mapped for about 10 kilometers.

4 days training to officers in Ladakh for Census 2027

As part of preparations for Census 2027, a four-day training program for Master Trainers in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh was successfully completed. This training program was organized at the Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD).

Director of Census Operations and Chief Principal Census Officer, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Amit Sharma said that the census will be completely in digital format, which will require trained personnel at all levels.
