After the Lok Sabha elections, the first state working committee meeting of BJP was organized in Lucknow. During this, CM Yogi addressed the BJP workers. The Chief Minister said that before the recent Lok Sabha elections, BJP had defeated the opposition in 2014, 201, 2019 and 2022 under the leadership of PM Modi. CM Yogi also mentioned the results of the general elections and said that there is no doubt that the vote percentage that was in favor of BJP in 2014, 2017 and 2022… BJP has been successful in getting the same votes in 2024 as well. In fact, in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP did not get the expected results in UP, in the state with 80 seats, only 33 seats came in BJP’s account.
Overconfidence often leads to injuries: CM Yogi
In the executive meeting, CM Yogi said that where we are overconfident and think that we are going to win, sometimes we get hurt. Because of which the opposition is jumping around. He said that we have ended the wait of 500 years. With the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the double engine government has made the dream come true. BJP workers do not need to come on the back foot in any situation.
Mention of the by-election to be held on 10 seats in UP
Regarding the by-elections to be held on 10 seats in UP, CM Yogi, while instilling enthusiasm among the workers, said that BJP will win the by-elections on all 10 seats. But for this, every worker will have to gather from today itself. We will have to gather considering it as a campaign. We have come to call for this. CM Yogi said that we have to maintain the winning streak. It has to be taken forward. Let us tell you that on July 10, by-elections were held on 13 assembly seats in 7 states. In this, INDIA Block has performed brilliantly, while BJP has suffered losses. Out of 13 seats, 10 have come in the account of India Block, while BJP has won only 2 seats. The spirits of INDIA Block are high due to the success in the by-elections.
‘We have to start preparing for the 2027 elections from now on’
Along with the by-elections, CM Yogi also mentioned the assembly elections to be held in UP in 2027. He said that we have to continue the winning streak in 2027 as well, for this we have to take a resolution from today. BJP also has a mayor in the district, there is also a district panchayat president, there is also a block pramukh, chairman and councillor. If there is even a scratch here, it will have a direct impact there (assembly elections). Therefore, be it a block pramukh or chairman, mayor or district panchayat president, MLA or member of Legislative Council, Lok Sabha MP or Rajya Sabha MP… everyone will have to work in excellent coordination with the organization. Stand with whoever the organization decides and move forward with the resolution to make the lotus flower victorious.

If the workers had spread BJP’s schemes, achievements of Dalit great men and thinkers on social media and reached the voters, then it is possible that the results could have been different.
