The owner of Delhi’s Flourish Stay Hotel, where 21 people died in a fire on Wednesday, is running two more similar hotels nearby. Both these hotels of Lavkesh Bajaj have kitchens and rooms inside the basement. There is no emergency exit in these.
Flourish Stay Hotel is located in Malviya Nagar, Delhi. There are 8 to 10 hotels in this area within a radius of 400 to 500 meters. Of these, three hotels, Flourish Stay, Flourish Inn Guest House and Green Residency, are being run by Lokesh Bajaj along with a partner. All three hotels are within a radius of 100 meters.
Flourish Inn Guest House is 100 meters away from the incident site. It has 5 rooms and kitchen inside the basement. No fire extinguisher was found here nor is there any arrangement for ventilation.

A basement so narrow that only one person can go out at a time
There is a narrow gate for entry and exit in its basement, through which only one person can pass at a time. There is no arrangement for emergency exit. There is a corridor fit for one person and through this there is access to the rooms.
There are 3 floors above the basement. There are 6-6 rooms on each floor. There are two fire extinguishers installed outside each floor, but their condition is not confirmed. There is no ventilation even on the upper floors. The windows have fixed glasses, from which there is no way of escape except breaking in an emergency.
The entire hotel was lying empty. No staff was found inside. Found an elderly man staying in a hotel room, but he was not ready to talk.

She reached Lavkesh Bajaj’s house after the fire in the Flourish Stay Hotel and a case of culpable homicide was registered. But, no one was found there. Police is busy searching for Bajaj.
