The murder case of 20 year old Saksham Tate in Nanded, Maharashtra is becoming horrifying with new revelations. This massacre that took place on Thursday evening had shocked the entire area. Now Saksham’s mother Sangeeta Tate has made a sensational revelation. He claims that the accused family had clearly told him that their son had become a “thorn” in their life, which they wanted to remove forever.
According to Sangeeta Tate, Saksham’s girlfriend Aanchal Mamidwar’s family initially pretended to support the relationship. At a festival, Aanchal’s father carried Saksham on his shoulders to show that he wanted to adopt the boy. But the real hint came on his birthday. At that time all her friends brought bouquets, but Aanchal’s family gave her a thorny rose plant.
Later, the accused themselves said that they gave him the thorns because they wanted to remove the thorns from their lives. A few days later, Saksham was with his friends in Old Ganj area. At that time Aanchal’s brother accused Himesh Mamidwar reached there. There was an altercation between the two, after which he opened fire on Saksham. The bullet entered his ribs. The accused hit him on the head with a tile.
Due to this, Saksham Tate died on the spot. The police immediately arrested Himesh, his brother Sahil and father Gajanan Mamidwar. Initial investigation revealed that there was a lot of resentment on the basis of caste in the relationship between Saksham and Aanchal. Before this murder, Himesh had gone to Itwara police station with his sister Aanchal. He wanted Aanchal to lodge a complaint against her boyfriend.
Aanchal refused to do so. What happened after this is in front of the whole world. After the murder, Aanchal married Saksham’s dead body. She said that their love is not less than any caste, pressure or threat. This relationship will remain immortal even after death. This incident has also shaken the political and social circles. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi chief Prakash Ambedkar called it caste-based violence.
He said Saksham, a young Buddhist youth, was killed out of caste hatred. Aanchal’s demand for immediate arrest of the accused brother and then marrying the dead body is an example of extraordinary courage. Republican Army Chief Anandraj Ambedkar said that this incident is such a wound which no words can heal. A family’s life was destroyed in an instant. Aanchal refused to bow down.
