Nida Khane’s anticipatory bail has been rejected on May 2.

In the Nashik TCS case, the police detained the main accused Nida Khan from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday night. Nida is accused of sexual harassment and forced religious conversion.

Earlier on May 2, Nashik Court had rejected Nida’s anticipatory bail petition. The prosecution told the court that the allegations are serious and their custodial interrogation is necessary. During this time Nida was absconding.

According to news agency PTI, Public Prosecutor Ajay Misar had told that Nida Khan is one of the main accused in this case. On this basis the court refused to grant him anticipatory bail.

According to the FIR, Nida is accused of advising female employees to wear burqa. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Nashik Police is investigating the case.

So far 9 FIRs have been registered in this case, which are related to alleged sexual harassment of female employees. SIT has so far arrested 8 people including a woman operations manager in this case.

Nida had cited pregnancy in the court, but no relief

Nida cited her pregnancy for anticipatory bail, but the court did not accept it. On the matter, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had said in a statement last month that the company works on a zero-tolerance policy against any kind of harassment and coercion.

Now know what is the whole matter…

Women working in TCS’ Nashik office made allegations of sexual harassment. Sources associated with SIT say, ‘The first FIR was registered on March 26 at Devlali Camp Police Station. After this, 8 more women filed complaints. Their statements have revealed a pattern of sexual exploitation, coercion and hurting religious sentiments.

The victim woman has lodged an FIR at Mumbai Naka Police Station in Nashik on 2 April. According to her, she was an associate in the TCS office from June 2025 to March 31, 2026. Husband lives in Pune for work.

In the FIR he said, ‘On June 24, 2025, I was included in a 3-month training program. Raza Memon had nothing to do with my training, yet he would come to me and ask about my personal life. They used to say why don’t you live with your husband, where did you go on honeymoon. What was done there, how was it done? Shahrukh Qureshi was also with Raza Memon.

Asif Ansari would also often come to me during training. Would sit tight and touch inappropriately. Sometimes he would put his hand on the thigh or shoulder. One day during lunch I placed my hand in my lap. Then he said- If there is any physical need, then tell me, I will fulfill it.

The woman said, ‘Senior Tausif Attar also misbehaved. Even he was not in the team, yet he would come near and ask for food. Asks in an obscene manner, ‘Have you brought oranges?’ Be it the small one or the big one. He used to hug and touch the face. When asked, he said, ‘Don’t you want to move ahead?’

According to the victim, Shahrukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, Asif Ansari, Tausif Attar and Shafi Shaikh tortured him physically and mentally. Abused Hindu Gods and Goddesses, which hurt his religious sentiments. She complained to the HR cell, but no action was taken. Then he complained to Mumbai Naka police station.

According to the FIR of 9 victims received by the police, female employees aged between 18 to 25 years were targeted.

‘God is the one who is invisible, Hindu gods and goddesses are false’

According to the complaint lodged at Mumbai Naka police station, she was sexually harassed in the office from January to December 2025. The woman used to listen to the complaints of credit card customers in the company. He told, ‘Tausif Attar exalts his religion and degrades Hinduism. He says that the true God is the one who is invisible. In Hindu religion, gods are visible, hence they are liars.

‘It is December 2025. I was drinking buttermilk after lunch, when Tausif came and asked – ‘What are you drinking?’ I said- ‘I am drinking buttermilk.’ She looked at me with strange eyes and said – I also have buttermilk, would you like to drink it? Saying this he pointed towards the private part.

This FIR was also lodged at Mumbai Naka Police Station in Nashik on 2 April.

In the third FIR, the victim said, ‘I was in the office in December 2024. Then Shafi Shaikh came and sat near me on the pretext of work and deliberately tried to rub his leg with mine. Then he touched me inappropriately under the pretext of using my keypad. I moved the chair away and went away laughing.

‘In February 2026, Tausif tried to degrade my religion. She said that Krishna married 16 thousand women, this shows what kind of person Krishna was. Didn’t Lord Shankar know that Ganesha was the son of Parvati? If it was not known then how Goddess Parvati had a son. Why did they cut off the head of Ganesha?

Select ‘target’ based on personal information

The accused used to select ‘targets’ on the basis of personal information of newly joined employees. Especially economically weak employees and those suffering from family problems were targeted. Arrested HR manager Ashwini Chenani had objectionable chats with Tausif Attar 38 times, Danish Shaikh once, Raza Memon 22 times.

When the victim girls complained against the accused, Ashwini deliberately ignored the complaint. On the contrary, he reprimanded the victim.

Investigation has also revealed that objectionable comments were made on Hindu Gods and Goddesses during the training. When the victims were distressed, the HR manager would contact them, gain their trust and gradually pressure them to change their lifestyle.

Women employees targeted between 2022 to 2026

According to the FIR, female employees aged between 18 to 25 years were targeted. It is alleged that-

• Pressure was created to offer Namaz
• Forced to eat non-veg
• Mental pressure was exerted for religious conversion.
• In some cases, there have been allegations of physical relations on the pretext of marriage and later blackmailing.

Allegations of molestation and harassment in the office itself

It is also stated in the complaints that

• Molested inside and outside the office
• Objectionable comments and gestures were made
• In one case, an attempt was made to forcibly arrest a woman in the office itself.
• Some victims alleged that despite complaining to senior officials, no action was taken.

Also created WhatsApp group

Investigation has revealed that the accused had also created a WhatsApp group, where they used to discuss ‘Target’ and on religious and company related issues. Police are also investigating this digital evidence.

The accused arrested so far include Asif Ansari, Shafi Shaikh, Shahrukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, Tausif Attar and others. Operations manager Ashwin Chenani has also been arrested. SIT is investigating this entire case and more than 12 possible victims have been identified.

At present the police is also investigating other connections and external links of this network. There is a possibility of more revelations in the case.
