The third and final round of the domestic first class tournament Duleep Trophy has started. By lunch on the first day on Thursday, India A has lost 5 wickets for 67 runs against India C. In another match, India D has scored 98 runs without loss against India B.
In the third round, India C is playing against India A and India B is playing against India D. India C and India B teams have won the toss and decided to bowl. Both the matches are being played in Anantapur.
The champion of the tournament will be decided from this round. This time there are no knockout matches in the tournament and the table topper team will become the champion. Suryakumar Yadav has returned in place of Sarfaraz in India-B. Sarfaraz is a part of the Indian team in the series against Bangladesh.

The table topper team will become the champion The India-C team led by Rituraj Gaikwad is at the top of the table with 9 points from 1 win and 1 draw, while the India-B team led by Abhimanyu Easwaran is challenging it at the second place with 7 points. The India-A team led by Mayank Agarwal is on 6 points with one win and one loss in two matches and is still in the title race, while the India-D team led by Shreyas Iyer is out of the race after losing both the matches. In the tournament, 6 points are awarded for a direct win, 3 points for a draw with a lead in the first innings and 1 point for trailing in a draw.

Shreyas, Riyan, Samson and Rinku have last chance The last round of the tournament is the last chance for star players like Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag and Rinku Singh to prove themselves before the current Test season.
