US President Donald Trump has said that he had three big mistakes on Tuesday at the United Nations General Assembly. Trump has called him a conspiracy.
Trump wrote on social media platform Truth social on Wednesday,
The UN should be ashamed of itself. Yesterday, not just one, two, but three highly suspicious incidents in the United Nations.
Trump mentioned all three incidents. These included the escalator stop, malfunction of the teleprompter and disturbances in the sound system of the assembly hall.
He has written a letter to the UN General Secretary demanding immediate investigation and said that the recording of all the safety cameras and emergency stop buttons of the escalator should be preserved, as the secret service will be involved in the investigation.
Trump was going towards UNGA’s main hall to give a speech, when the escalator suddenly stopped.
3 mess in UN with Trump
First event: The escalator going to the main floor suddenly stopped. Trump said that if he and Melania were not holding the handle, an accident could have happened. He called it a conspiracy and demanded the arrest of the responsibilities.
Second incident:
The teleprompter was not working while starting a speech in the 80th UNGA session. Trump said, “After the escalator, now the teleprompter also bad. What is this place? Despite this, he gave a 57 -minute speech without a teleprompter.
Third incident:
After the speech, the sound system in the assembly hall was closed, causing other leaders of the world to resort to the translator’s earpiece to listen to Trump. Trump told that after the speech, Melania said, “I did not hear even a word.”
