Germany has sent 28 Afghan citizens back to their country. All these people were sent on a charter plane of Qatar Airways on Friday morning. According to the report, all these criminals were given 1000 Euros (about 93 thousand rupees). A doctor was also sent with them in the plane.

Germany has taken the first such step since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan 3 years ago. Germany does not have diplomatic relations with the Taliban, so Qatar acted as a mediator in sending these criminals to Afghanistan.

According to BBC, the German Chancellor’s spokesperson said that all these people were involved in crime. However, their crime was not disclosed. Home Minister Nancy Fieser called this move a security issue for Germany.

A doctor was also sent on the chartered plane along with the criminals, so that he could treat them in case of any emergency.

Steps taken after stabbing incident
According to the German newspaper Spiegel, the government was preparing for this for 2 months. But this step was taken a week after the knife attack incident in Solingen. On August 23, 3 people were killed in a knife attack incident in Solingen, while 5 people were seriously injured.

Police arrested the attacker a day later. The suspect is a Syrian citizen who had applied for asylum in Germany. He was supposed to be deported to Bulgaria last year but he disappeared before he could leave and so he could not be deported.

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the Solingen attack. It said the attack was carried out to avenge the deaths of Muslims in Palestine and the rest of the world.

There have been incidents of stabbing in Germany on the last two Fridays.

Two stabbing cases in Germany in 8 days
Just a day after the attack in Solingen on Friday, another stabbing incident took place in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. A woman attacked with a knife on a bus, injuring five people.

The woman has been arrested. According to reports, the condition of three people is critical. At least 40 other passengers were on the bus at the time of the incident. Information about the accused woman is not yet available.

Elections next year, right wing party attacks refugees
There has been a significant increase in knife attacks in Germany. General elections are to be held there in 2025. In such a situation, the right-wing party AfD has intensified its rhetoric against refugees.

In Germany, on May 31 this year, an unidentified attacker carried out a knife attack during a demonstration in Mannheim, Germany, injuring seven people, including a police officer.

After this, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had said that he would send the Syrian and Afghan citizens involved in these crimes to their country.
