Also said that debating on old issues is not foreign policy. Iyer also said- ‘We say that there should be diplomacy and dialogue. But we do not have any diplomacy or talks with Pakistan alone. If you don’t have that courage, then I suggest that we meet at the Wagah-Attari border. A table should be kept on our border line itself so that the Pakistani delegation does not have to leave Pakistan and we do not have to leave India. And this dialogue should be continued.” He further said, “Wherever a solution is found, action should be taken on it. The issues which have not been resolved should be postponed for now.” Iyer’s 2 claims on Kashmir spoke on the country’s politics – non-Hindutva parties should unite. Iyer said that similar unity is necessary in national politics and non-Hindutva parties should come together. He said that the INDIA block already exists and if the opposition parties were completely united in the 2024 elections, then according to him they could have easily got the required 8 seats for majority. Iyer said that if the country has to move forward, then people or parties who have disagreements among themselves will have to come together. ———————- Read this news also… Air Chief Marshal said – Pakistan’s J-35 fighter jet is a matter of concern: India needs 36-40 fighter jets every year; Current squadron reduced to 29.
